On this page you will find guides for all functionalities in Express Me. Each of the guides has a video and transcript to read along with. In this way, we try to explore all functionalities together, as it were! We keep this page up-to-date with every new functionality that we add.
Please note that we have currently only recorded our video guides in Dutch.
And I'm going to show you how to create a story tile in our app.
The idea is that it shows a kind of sequence or tells a story through a number of images in a certain order. I'm going to show you how we can do that.
We first go to edit mode and then we say, hey, we want to add a new tile. Then we see here a story with a small book. We click on that.
Then we can say what kind of story we want to create. Let's tell something about our morning routine. We do that by creating the tile and say okay, confirm position.
And then we can click on the tile. Then we see that the story is indeed still empty, so then we can start adding new images. Let's do that.
We start for example with waking up. And then we say okay, we want to create a tile. Then we can choose in what way we want to get the image. For convenience I'll now choose from the internet.
And then you see that a number of good images are loaded. And we choose one and then we can confirm the position.
Then, a story consists of multiple steps, so let's add two more tiles. We can for example say okay, we're going to have breakfast. And then we say again, choose image from the internet. And then we have this one. We say confirm position.
We can also add as first or as last closers. And then we choose cycling as the last step. Then we do again choose from the internet. Then we see here an image of the bike. Then we click on confirm position.
And if we now exit edit mode, what we then see, if we go back to the beginning, then all the way to the bottom. Then we see there our tile with the page, so filled with the images.
And then we see, this is the first step we made, waking up. Then we go to the next. Then we say okay, we're now having breakfast. And then we go cycling. And so we have been able to make a simple step plan in the app.
Frequently asked questions
Is it possible to transfer tiles from the previous version to the new application?
Yes, this is possible. The latest update of the previous version includes an export functionality that allows you to migrate your data to the new version. For assistance with this process, please contact us at info@expressme.nl.
Why is the new application no longer available for free?
The previous version was indeed available for free. However, due to the lack of revenue, we were unable to maintain it adequately, which caused the application to become outdated. To ensure continuous innovation, new functionalities, and professional support, we have chosen to finance the new version through a subscription model. This revenue enables us to continuously improve the application and provide comprehensive support to a broader range of users.
Can I continue using the previous version of the application?
The previous version remains free and functional for existing users. However, it is important to note that this version will not receive any further updates. New users can no longer download the previous version through the app stores.
Are the costs reimbursed by health insurance providers?
Currently, the application is not yet reimbursed by health insurance providers. However, we plan to take steps in the future to make reimbursement through health insurance possible. This is included in our long-term roadmap for the application's further development.
What are the costs of the application after the 90-day trial period?
